Sumitomo Corporation

Through its worldwide network, the Sumitomo Corporation Group engages in diverse business activities. MS Communications

MSCOM, a joint venture between Sumitomo Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation, is the largest mobile handset retailer in the Japanese market operating over 400 retail locations. In addition, MSCOM jointly operates locations with major Japanese retailers Yodabashi Camera, Yamada Denki, Sakuraya, Kimuraya, and Aeon.

Sumisho Computer Systems

SCS, a public corporation listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, is a leading system integrator with offices in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. SCS specializes in solution development, network computing management, software development, and datacenter services. SCS has acted as a master distributor in Japan for many of Presidio STX’s partner companies.

Cable (J:COM, JUPITER TV)

J:COM is Japan’s largest MSO controlling approx. 35% of the multi-channel cable universe. Providing “quadruple play” including hi-speed internet service reaching up to 160mbps, full digital penetration is expected to be completed by 2009. JUPITER TV presently provides a multi-channel platform for 16 programming networks including Discovery Channel, SciFi Channel etc. State of the art On-Demand service is also available through JUPITER VOD.

Film (Asmik Ace Entertainment, United Cinemas)

Asmik is one of the leading independent film production and distribution houses in Japan. Activities range from domestic and international film investment, co-production, theatrical to DVD distribution. United Cinemas is Japan’s 3rd largest multiplex cinema circuit with 20 sites (approx. 200 screens) throughout the country.

Commerce (JUPITER SHOP Channel, BIGLOBE)

JUPITER SHOP Channel is Japan’s largest TV Home Shopping Network with annual sales reaching over $1B. Providing 24hr live broadcast in HD quality. An E-commerce platform is under consideration in conjunction with Japan’s 3rd largest ISP, BIGLOBE.

Cambrios

Cambrios is a start-up engineering development company, who produces a transparent conductive coating for Touch Panel application. Their technology is for a replacement of ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) coating, which is a main coating as a transparent conductive coating now. ITO includes a precious metal, Indium, which globally is monopolized by several countries as natural resources. Cambrios is getting a lot of attention from Asian customers for Tough Panel and Liquid Crystal Display areas.
